How to Care for Your Aprons
This Apron Care Guide is a helpful tool for customers to understand the types of apron fabrics and their care instructions, so that they can make an informed choice when choosing aprons for themselves and their staff. Or use the Care Guide as a handy reminder, if you already have purchased some of our aprons.
Aussie Chef Clothing Company carries a wide range of aprons in various fabrics and colours, therefore, each and every apron comes with a specific Aussie Chef Care Label attached to help our customers care for them in the best way possible.
Aprons are designed to be hard wearing, but all fabrics wear with age and have some limitations. Depending on the fabric composition, colours may fade or may stay vibrant wash after wash. Some may become more relaxed in appearance, or wrinkle and may need pressing, while others look fresh straight out of the laundry.

• Frequency of washing
• Types of washing powders & liquids
• Water quality & temperature
• Line or machine dried
• Exposure to sunlight or UV
• Stains - time left untreated
• Drycleaning
Aussie Chef takes prides in the designing their aprons to the highest level, with double stitching on all edges, bar tacking on pressure points and using quality hardware - press studs, rivets and eyelets.

100% Cotton Denim
Benefits:
• Comfortable to wear
• Durable & hard wearing
• Breathable, pure cotton denim
• Fabric becomes more relaxed after repeated washing
• Designed to fade over time like your favourite jeans
Caution:
• Dark Denim should be washed before wearing as colour may rub off on clothing

Care:
PVC - Sponge off with warm soapy water. Then wipe clean. Do not use solvents. Do not machine wash. Keep away from naked flame.

Additional Care Instructions
Removable Cross Back Tie Care:
Care:
For aprons with removable cross back ties, please remove from the apron before washing. Black, tan and brown PVC ties should be wiped off with a clean damp cloth. For woven ties requiring washing - place in a lingerie bag to avoid getting tangled up in the wash. Drip dry.

Embroidered Apron Care
Care:
For aprons with embroidery, please iron on the reverse ONLY on LOW where the embroidery is located to avoid harming/damaging the stitching of your beautiful embroidery.
Screen Printed Apron Care
Care:
For aprons with screen printing, please iron on the reverse ONLY on LOW where the screen printing is located to avoid damaging it. Please note, once an apron is screen printed, it is no longer dry cleanable (X).
